A well-regarded Kensington & Chelsea primary school is recruiting an experienced SENCO to lead SEND strategy from January 2026. The SENCO will play a key role in improving outcomes supporting staff and ensuring statutory compliance. Expect to take part in planning before January 2026 attend induction in January 2026 and carry full SENCO responsibility from January 2026.

SENCO Requirements
National SENCO award (or evidence of enrolment) and QTS. The SENCO must be confident leading EHCP reviews.
Experience leading SEND in a primary setting and strong knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice as the SENCO.
Availability for pre-term planning before January 2026 for induction in January 2026 and to commence the SENCO role from January 2026.
SENCO Responsibilities
Coordinate identification and provision for pupils with SEND as the SENCO.
Lead and evaluate interventions maintain provision maps and report on impact as the SENCO.
Support staff training liaise with parents and external agencies and ensure statutory processes are followed as the SENCO.
