Job Description
Mater Dei High School a Catholic co-educational college preparatory high school of the Diocese of Orange has an immediate opening for an Assistant Facilities and Equipment Manager. This full-time non-exempt position is responsible for supporting and assisting the Athletic Facilities and Head Equipment Manager with the athletic equipment room for 28 varsity sports.
Responsibilities include assisting with procuring inventorying maintaining and repairing equipment for all athletic teams as well as managing game day setup and breakdown locker room assignments and locker room maintenance. Assists with the scheduling of preventative maintenance for Daktronics scoreboards consoles and other systems.
Assists with athletic facilities maintenance including preparing all athletic facilities for games practices and all other contests. Cleans and repairs athletic facilities. Some nights weekends and travel will be required.
Candidate should be dedicated to the mission of Catholic education as envisioned in Church documents and teachings rooted in our core principles of Honor Glory and Love.
Education: Bachelors degree in a related field preferred.
Experience: Two years experience as an Equipment Manager is preferred.
Hours: Schedule will vary based on the season.
Hourly Rate: $21-$25 hourly
