Job Description:

Professional skills / Technical knowledge:

Candidates with 7 to 12 years of work experience in Aerospace & defense Automotive/ Automobile manufacturing companies (except pharmaceutical). Potential candidate profile shall focus on QA (Quality Assurance) experience with excellent knowledge on Six-Sigma Lean Manufacturing VSM (Value stream mapping) PFMEA (Process Failure Mode Effects Analysis) SPC (Statistical Process Control) MSA (Measurement System Analysis).

• This job demands a good understanding of best practices in Quality Production Mgt Supply Chain Management.
• Good understanding and knowhow of all elements of lean manufacturing or good understanding and know of 6 Sigma
• Good practical understanding of project management and APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning)
• Practical understanding of Risk management / proactive approach.
• To operate with a high degree of independence whilst working within the supply chain.
• Good in digital skills creation of dashboards(Google Sheets G Studio Excel etc.)
• Good communication skills to influence decision making with suppliers/internal customers
• Outstanding Program Management Skills
• International /multi functional team experience
• Excellent command on Root cause analysis and countermeasures.

Must have skills:

Lean-Six Sigma / Lean Expert professional
Six Sigma-Green Belt / Black Belt.
Excellent command on Value Stream Mapping.
Problem Solving Techniques - 5 Why Analysis Ishikawa Analysis 8D/9S etc.
Experience in product/process audits - internal or external exposure.
Run at Rate / PPAP
APQP - Advanced Product Quality Planning

Detailed Job Description

The job holder will act as a change agent and is expected to deploy best practices across industries into the Airbus supply chain. This position is very dynamic and the expectation from the candidate is to demonstrate an agile mindset.

The job holder normally is assigned to projects ranging from low to high complexity. Major assignments include:

• Transfer of Work (ToW - project management). Lead/Support ToW projects by implementing a standard methodology for new product introduction ensuring that at entry into the industrialisation phase the manufacturing process is capable in terms of Quality On Time Delivery and Capacity for current and planned Aircraft build rates.
• Recovery missions (tactical/time-bound related to delivery & quality performance)
• Industrial Maturity- To increase the industrial maturity of suppliers/partners. Such projects/missions will be 360 degree in nature i.e. including quality supply chain production mgt subtier mgt. Etc.
• Assessments/ Audits - Lead/support industrial assessments or product audits as per internal customer requirements.
• To successfully lead the Business change in the co.s Supply Chain at Suppliers and co.s interface by:
• Establishing the most accurate & value-added diagnoses of a Supply Chain
• Proposing a Single Voice approach to the supply base
• Ensuring the co. Procurement strategy & policy is well implemented by Suppliers
• Drive KPIs implementation
• Closing the gap between current Supply Chain performance and co. targets.
• Ensure that Suppliers process and procedures satisfy the Quality standards (Qualification) & statutory bodies/authorities (eg EASA/ IAQG).

Major problems to be solved in the position

Provide robust continuous improvement in the global supply chain to secure sustained performance and mitigate supply chain risks within the following areas.

Supply Chain performance QCD

New Product introduction / Product transfer.

Rate ramp up.

Educational Qualifications:

BE/B-Tech in Mechanical Engineering/Production Engineering.

MBA not required

Certification from recognised bodies such as ASQ / APICS.

Six-Sigma - ASQ

Supply Chain Mgt. - APICS
