About the Role

We are looking for aData Analytics and Business Intelligence Engineerto support a federal data modernization initiative focused on advancing enterprise analytics cloud data capabilities and data-driven decision support. You will help design develop and maintain secure scalable data and reporting solutions across a broad suite of analytics platforms and AWS services.

What Youll Do

• Build and maintain scalable data pipelines marts and visualization layers supporting analytical and operational missions.
• Develop dashboards and analytics usingTableau SAS Viya Oracle Analytics Server (OAS) OBIEE and Sprinklr.
• Support integration of social engagement data into enterprise analytics solutions to provide mission-driven insights.
• Implement and optimizeAI/MLand predictive models to support operational insight anomaly identification and improve decision-making.
• LeverageAWStools such asS3 Glue Redshift and Lambdato manage cloud data workflows and transformation pipelines.
• Apply strong DevSecOpspractices using GitHub Jenkins OpenShift and automated testing methodologies.
• Work with cross-functional teams to improve data quality consistency and system performance.
• Support integration of social engagement and external data into enterprise analytics products relevant to mission needs.
• Ensure compliance with data governance security policy and accessibility standards.

Location:

This is not a 100% remote opportunity. Primary work will be performed on-site at either the Next Phase Solutions & Services office in Columbia MD or at a designated government facility within the region as directed by the client.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degreein Computer Science Information Systems Data Analytics or a related field.
• 5 yearsof experience in data engineering analytics or BI development.
• Proficiency inDatabricks Informatica IICS SAS Viya Tableau Oracle Analytics Server (OAS) OBIEE and AWS services including S3 Glue Redshift and Lambda.

• Strong programming skills inPython Scala Groovy or PL/SQL.
• Experience supporting DHS or USCIS data environments or other federal mission-critical data analytics programs involving sensitive operational and identity-related data.
• Experience working inAgile/DevSecOps developmentenvironments.
• U.S. Citizenshiprequired; must be able to obtain and maintain aPublic Trust clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with social-media analytics platforms such as Sprinklr including data ingestion and analysis of digital engagement trends.
• Experience developing predictive models using AI/ML frameworks.
• Familiarity with data governance frameworks metadata automation and data quality tooling.
• AWS Databricks or SAS certifications are a plus!

• Hybrid - Columbia Maryland (with occasional travel for client on-site meetings in the D.C. metro area).

Salary Range:

• $115000 - $175000

Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications. This range reflects a broad spectrum of potential candidates with offers based on technical depth federal engagement experience and field expertise.
