Consultant Cyber Governance Risk and Compliance

NIQ is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant to join our Cyber Governance Risk and Compliance team with a strong emphasis on cybersecurity certifications and regulatory frameworks. This role will play a critical part in advancing NIQs Governance Risk and Compliance (GRC) program particularly in maintaining and achieving industry-recognized standards such as SOC 2 ISO 27001 and other relevant compliance frameworks as well as supporting and performing duties within Cyber Risk Management.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving security certification efforts managing audits and auditors and supporting customer cybersecurity requirements. You will be responsible for articulating NIQs security posture to auditors demonstrating how we safeguard NIQs critical assets in alignment with global standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support initiatives related to SOC 2 ISO 27001 and other cybersecurity certifications.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement in GRC processes and documentation to support audit readiness and certification maintenance.
- Work within a global organization across multiple products/teams adapting to diverse regulatory landscapes and client expectations.
- Perform Risk Assessments and support Global Cyber Risk Management practices across the organization and its senior stakeholders.
Qualifications :
- Demonstrable experience of maintaining and/or auditing SOC 2 ISO 27001 and other cybersecurity frameworks.
- Good understanding of Cyber Governance and Risk Management practices.
- Proven track record of successful engagement and communication with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Experience of working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced global environment.
- Certification in the implementation or auditing of global security frameworks desired but not required.
- Senior Cyber Security Certification such as CISSP CISM or CISA desired but not required.
- Bachelor level degree in Cyber Security or other related field desired but not required.
