THE POSITION
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Maintenance Technician Intern to join our dynamic team. If you thrive in fast-paced environments and take pride in delivering exceptional customer service this role is an excellent opportunity to grow your skills. Working closely with the Maintenance Manager you will contribute to maintaining the hotel at its highest operational standards ensuring smooth functionality.
The ideal candidate will actively support the implementation of brand standards foster teamwork and uphold high levels of productivity and quality in all tasks performed.
Job requirements
As a Maintenance Technician Intern your duties will include:
Assisting in the preparation and upkeep of facilities to meet established hotel standards.
Performing routine maintenance and repair tasks to ensure a safe and welcoming environment.
Addressing and resolving maintenance-related questions or complaints from employees and guests promptly and professionally.
Diagnosing malfunctions determining the necessary repairs and reporting issues effectively.
Applying hands-on skills across various areas including (but not limited to) :
Electrical systems
Plumbing
Sewage
Heating and cooling systems
Lighting maintenance
Preventive cleaning tasks (filters equipment etc)
WHAT YOULL BRING
Currently enrolled in an MBO/HBO degree in Hospitality Tourism or a degree in another relevant field of study.
Affinity with hotels and hospitality.
Fluent in English; any other additional language is a plus.
EU/EEA national and enrolled in a Dutch institution as we cannot provide visas permits or sponsorships.
