Job Summary

Were partnering with a leading Marine Logistics and Engineering Services company to find a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Officer. This role is critical in driving revenue growth expanding market presence and securing high-value contracts within Nigerias oil and gas industry. If youre a strategic sales professional with a strong background in marine or offshore services this is your opportunity to make a significant impact on one of the most competitive markets.

What Youll Do

Strategic Sales Execution: Develop and implement annual sales strategies and business plans to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
Market Development: Identify qualify and pursue new business opportunities with IOCs NOCs EPC contractors and major construction firms.
Tender & Contract Leadership: Lead end-to-end tender processes from opportunity identification through proposal submission negotiation and contract award.
Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong long-term relationships with key decision-makers and influencers across client organizations.
Market Intelligence: Monitor competitor activity pricing and service offerings to provide timely feedback and insights to senior management.
Negotiation & Deal Structuring: Negotiate charter parties master service agreements (MSAs) and other commercial contracts to secure profitable sustainable deals.
HSEQ Advocacy: Ensure all sales and business development activities comply with company and client HSEQ standards promoting a safety-first culture.

Requirements

Who You Are

A proven business development professional with a passion for winning new business.

Skilled in stakeholder engagement negotiation and contract management within the oil and gas industry.

Strong communicator with the ability to influence at all organizational levels.

Commercially astute analytical and proactive in identifying and securing opportunities.


What You Bring

Education: Bachelors degree in Business Administration Marketing Engineering or a related field.

Experience: Minimum of 5 years proven sales experience including at least 3 years in marine/offshore services within the Nigerian oil and gas sector.

Competence: Excellent presentation proposal writing and negotiation skills.

HSEQ Awareness: Sound understanding of HSEQ principles and compliance standards.
