Job Summary
We are seeking a vigilant and responsible Security Officer to ensure the safety and security of guests staff visitors and property across our all operations. The role involves monitoring premises enforcing safety procedures preventing unauthorized access and maintaining a secure environment while delivering a calm courteous and professional presence at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect security threats safety hazards or unauthorized activities.
- Control access to the premises by verifying identification managing entry and exit points and maintaining visitor logs.
- Ensure the safety of guests staff livestock equipment and facilities through regular inspections and surveillance.
- Respond promptly and professionally to security incidents emergencies and alarms following established protocols.
- Enforce company policies safety procedures and site regulations consistently and fairly.
- Report incidents irregularities and security breaches accurately and in a timely manner.
- Support crowd control traffic management and security coverage during events and peak activity periods.
- Work collaboratively with management operations teams and external security agencies when required.
- Maintain a visible and reassuring security presence that aligns with the organizations hospitality standards.
Requirements
- Minimum of SSCE or equivalent qualification.
- Previous experience in security preferably within hospitality resorts farms or large facilities.
- Good physical fitness and the ability to remain alert for extended periods.
- Strong observation skills and sound judgment in handling security situations.
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with guests staff and colleagues.
- Willingness to work shifts including nights weekends and public holidays.
- Training or certification in security operations is an added advantage.
