Inviting applications for the role of Assistant Manager/Manager Plant Accounting (SCF)
In this role the candidate is responsible for providing comprehensive accounting services for manufacturing plants. This role involves preparing accurate monthly financial statements analyzing manufacturing costs managing inventory and assisting with budget preparation and control.
Responsibilities
In this role you will be responsible for all the activities related to month end closing.
Cost Analysis:
Analyze manufacturing costs and prepare regular reports comparing standard costs to actual production costs.
Evaluate and maintain the accuracy of the general ledger.
Analyze trends costs revenues financial commitments and obligations to predict future revenues and expenses.
Inventory Management:
Track and manage inventory including conducting audits reconciliations and analyses.
Ensure inventory records are accurate and up-to-date.
Operational Support:
Provide operations with financial analysis and thorough reporting of plant metrics and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Assist with the weekly financial estimate and work with operations to resolve variances.
Compliance:
Ensure compliance with all local state and federal regulations.
Oversee all regulatory reporting requirements.
General Accounting Duties:
Reconcile all accounts within the required timeframe and prepare all monthly bank reports.
Consolidate all financial statements and ensure their accuracy.
Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum and Preferred Qualifications
Bachelors degree in accounting Finance or a related /CPA/CMA preferred
Experience
Typically requires relevant experience in Supply Chain Finance & FP&A/RTR preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Skills and/or knowledge
Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage vast amounts of numerical data.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Other Requirements
Excellent interpersonal skills and great client management
Good team player with positive outlook
