Role Summary
The Family Physician will provide comprehensive primary and preventive care emphasizing early diagnosis chronic disease management and wellness-focused medicine. The position offers flexibility autonomy and the opportunity to build long-term relationships with patients in a thriving and well-supported practice.
Key Responsibilities
Provide full-scope family and preventive medicine services
Conduct annual health assessments chronic disease management and follow-up visits
Incorporate preventive and longevity-focused care into patient management plans
Maintain accurate and detailed medical documentation using EMR (Oscar / MedAccess or similar)
Collaborate with allied health professionals and wellness practitioners
Support patient education on nutrition lifestyle and disease prevention
Qualifications
Medical Degree (MD) from a recognized institution
Fully licensed or eligible for Independent or Provisional License with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia (CPSBC)
Certification in Family Medicine (CCFP preferred)
Strong focus on preventive care patient education and holistic health
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Open to new graduates and internationally trained physicians
