Job Summary
Job overview
We are looking for a professional Project Manager experienced in Civil Engineering Projects and liaison activities with Government authorities.
You would be responsible for Projects related engineering and administrative tasks in coordination with site engineers architects and Government agencies to ensure that the project gets completed in a timely manner and within the proposed budget.
Responsibilities
- Drawing up a detailed plan for how to achieve each stage of a project
- Schedule the project operations and shifts according to the deadline.
- Agreeing timescales costs and resources needed to deliver a project
- Manage construction schedule and activities
- Predict resources needed to complete the project.
- Overseeing several projects at the same time simultaneously with site engineers.
- Ensuring that each stage of the project happens on time on budget and to a high standard
- Coordinate efforts across the entire project between internal and external teams.
- Issue progress updates as needed regarding costs and timelines
- Reporting regularly on progress to the Management and stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree Civil or Construction Engineering.
- Proven experience of 5-10 years as a Civil Project Manager.
- Strong management skills to deal with Government Agencies.
- Expert knowledge of construction processes and quality standards.
- Comfortable reading and understanding blueprints and drawings.
- Proficient in general computer and design software applications.
- Ability to budget schedule negotiate and control costs.
- Knowledge of The Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act 2016
- High degree of familiarity with legal contracts and subcontract documents.
