Introduction

Provides reliability analysis and lab support for all company technologies and customer issues and/or develops corporate wide standards and strategies.

Your Role

Provides reliability analysis and lab support for all company technologies and customer issues.
Plans and develops implementation routes for emerging technologies (Si Ph NVRAM High Voltage) and external branding through IP and conferences.
May be subject matter experts for central reliability strategy standards and business interactions/business unit roadmaps
Complete responsibility for all aspects of the Singapore Reliability Lab
Develops new methods of problem solving for department
Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental Health Safety & Security requirements and programs
Work and collaborate other projects and/or assignments as needed
Integrates work of own department with other departments. Has to consider impact of solutions to other departments and find overall solutions; can be in global environment
Has to consider interdisciplinary aspects
Has full staffing responsibility
Highest authority of subject matter content
Balances short term and long term goals
Balances financial resource and people issues
Integrates subject matter and industry expertise within a defined area

Accountability

Accountable for budget and end results for area managed including cost management.
Provides advice and counsel related to the operation of the business to leadership teams based on deep subject matter expertise.
Work is guided by functional strategy and area goals and operational objective.
Sets area objectives and work plans in alignment with functional strategy.
Ensures that procedures processes and standards are continuously reviewed tested and aligned with the business.

Relationship Focus

Builds cross-functional and cross-regional partnerships across GF
Provides coaching and mentoring to team
Guides and influences key decisions made by senior management in own function.

Knowledge Skills & Abilities

Requires functional expertise in-depth department and company knowledge and additional industry or business knowledge.

Required Qualifications:

Education - Bachelor/Master/PhD degree in Engineering (Electronics Materials or Physics) or Science.
10 years of relevant experience in reliability tests
Knowledge of wafer fabrication & ISO9000/QS9000/TS16949 is an advantage.
Knowledge of MOS Device Physics & Reliability Statistics.
Knowledge of Reliability Test-Chip Layout Design
Knowledge of Minitab JMP FMEA 8D etc is an advantage.

Able to work under tight project timeline
