Job Summary
The Sourcing Manager is responsible for leading supplier and vendor negotiations to secure reliable cost-effective and high-quality materials that support uninterrupted production. This role drives strategic procurement initiatives manages supplier relationships and ensures compliance with corporate standards while optimizing inventory and cost performance.
Responsibilities
- Lead supplier and vendor negotiations to achieve competitive pricing favorable contract terms and long-term supply reliability.
- Develop and maintain strategic supplier relationships ensuring consistent quality delivery performance and financial stability.
- Enforce compliance with Sourcing policies and Finance procedures while upholding the highest standards of ethics.
- Lead the Sourcing team in reviewing and analyzing material costs identifying and executing cost reduction opportunities.
- Collaborate with Engineering to develop and implement cost reduction programs initiate projects and monitor performance outcomes.
- Conduct periodic reviews of supplier quality delivery and financial performance to ensure reliability of supply and manage long-term agreements.
- Guide and motivate the team to apply Carrier Excellence Tools foster continuous improvement efficiency and effectiveness.
- Maintain a positive work environment by applying the Carrier Way promoting teamwork communication and creativity.
- Ensure compliance with Environment Health and Safety (EHS) standards aligning departmental objectives with corporate and local government requirements and driving continuous improvement programs.
- Oversee adherence to Quality Management Systems ensuring alignment with company quality policies goals and business metrics.

Reports to: Senior Manager Supply Chain
Peer Relationship: Factory Managements Program Management Offices Regional Leads
Job Requirements
- Degree /Diploma in Engineering discipline and/or Materials Management and Supply Chain field.
- At least 5 years experience in procurement or supply management roles in a manufacturing environment
- A team leader with excellent communication negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- 5 years of management experience including leading team and driving operational excellence.
