We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join our world-class team at Thermo Fisher Scientific

  • Our ideal candidate is a Kinaxis Solution architect with a track record of accomplishing Supply Chain planning projects for over ten years coupled with over five years of participation in Kinaxis Rapid Response Implementation.
  • This position involves strong analytical skills and RR configuration expertise within various modules such as Supply Planning Constraints in Capacity Analysis Distribution Requirement Planning Master Production Schedule Demand Forecasting and Order Fulfillment.

Typical responsibilities include:

  • Provide solutions proficiency to analyze and identify gaps lead the solution design and implement the Rapid Response application to meet business requirements
  • Guiding in supply chain management and Kinaxis RR configuration
  • Developing and implementing supply chain planning solutions
  • Working with multi-functional teams to achieve project success
  • Providing guidance and support to the project teams
  • Conducting training and knowledge transfer sessions
  • Managing day-to-day support and enhancements
  • Driving continuous improvement and optimization of Kinaxis Rapid Response capabilities
  • Evaluating and recommending new features and functionality to enhance supply chain planning processes

Key Qualifications:

For consideration you must bring the following minimum skills and behaviors to our team:

  • Experience as a Kinaxis Solution Architect in Supply planning and Demand planning implementation
  • Good project management and leadership skills.
  • Superb communication and interpersonal capabilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multi-functional team environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Should have experience in Author workbooks creating automation schedule tasks developing reports dashboards and scorecards
  • Hold Level 2 Author and Contributor Certification in Kinaxis Rapid Response
  • Demonstrable experience in supply chain management or with deep functional knowledge in at least one area of supply chain planning: i.e. operations demand planning supply planning inventory optimization logistics optimization or supplier network optimization
  • Bachelors degree in engineering supply chain management or other relevant work experience
  • Post graduate certifications like APICS-CPIM CSCP or similar supply chain certifications a plus

In addition preferable skills and behaviors include:

  • Working knowledge of relational databases and query writing considered an asset
  • Proficiency in Agile methodologies like Scrum or Kanban service management and their implementation in IT operations.
  • Proficient in using Agile tools such as Service Now and JIRA for efficient project progress management and tracking.
  • Able to set priorities on a continuous basis
  • Ability to develop strong working relationships with all relevant parties
