Job Summary

Our client is a top-notch technology company that is looking for a qualified candidate to join their firm.

Oversee project development ensuring cost efficiency and effectiveness throughout the process.
Communicate the organization s objectives and strategic direction clearly to the team members within the department.
Responsible for selecting and appointing project consultants and contractors.
Lead project planning and review activities by:

Verifying that consultant designs comply with all specified requirements.
Confirming the suitability of materials and equipment proposed by consultants.
Establishing design standards and comprehensive checklists.
Ensuring timely preparation of tender documents and the issuance of tender invitations.

Manage all aspects of project execution ensuring projects adhere to agreed schedules budgets and quality standards.
Oversee site construction activities and documentation maintaining adherence to the Quality Management System protocols.
Chair meetings with consultants and provide guidance on regulatory requirements throughout project management.
Maintain an organized data resource system related to project management.
Provide regular updates to senior management on construction progress.
Collaborate closely with departments such as Business Development Project Development Sales and Marketing and Finance to facilitate technical decision-making relevant to the department.
Comply with and implement the companys Environmental Management System (ISO 14001) as well as its Environment Health and Safety Management standards.

Requirements

Bachelor s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management from an accredited institution.
Minimum of five years experience in a similar role with experience in residential projects considered an asset.
Proficient in English (spoken and written) and skilled in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD or related software.
Strong leadership and management capabilities able to perform effectively under pressure demonstrate creativity and independently resolve challenges with positive outcomes.
Solid expertise in project planning and building construction preferably within residential development.
Highly organized with careful attention to detail.
Ability to thrive in demanding multitasking work environments.
