Job Summary
We are seeking a suitably qualified candidate to join our client s team as aVan Sales Representative. The successful candidate will be responsible for selling products directly to customers from the company-owned van driving sales growth ensuring timely deliveries and building strong customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales and Delivery: Drive to assigned territories deliver products and generate sales through direct interactions and order-taking.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers by understanding and addressing their needs.
- Product Promotion: Present and demonstrate products highlighting key features benefits and pricing.
- Order Management: Take orders process transactions and issue receipts or invoices accurately.
- Inventory Management: Load and unload products ensure proper handling of goods and maintain accurate stock counts.
- Route Planning: Plan efficient delivery routes to ensure timely product distribution.
- Reporting and Feedback: Submit daily/weekly sales reports provide customer insights and monitor competitor activities.
Requirements

- Education: Minimum of a high school diploma; a Bachelor s degree in Marketing or a related field is an added advantage.
- Experience: Proven track record in sales preferably in direct sales or van sales within the FMCG industry.
- Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Sales-driven and customer-focused attitude
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Basic mathematical skills for pricing and discounts
- Valid driver s license with a clean driving record
- Product Knowledge: Familiarity with FMCG products will be an advantage.
Additional Responsibilities
- Van Maintenance: Ensure the sales van is clean well-maintained and roadworthy.
- Cash and Stock Control: Manage cash transactions maintain proper records and minimize stock losses.
- Compliance: Adhere to company policies safety protocols and driving regulations.
