Job Summary

Are you fluent in Cape Verdean Creole and English Do you have a knack for bridging cultures and facilitating clear communication If so we want you to join our clients dedicated team as a Cape Verdean Creole/English Interpreter!

The mission:

You will employ your bilingual skills in Cape Verdean Creole (C2) and English (C2) to provide remote professional interpretation services (Insurance Legal Medicine (General and Forensic)) from mainland Portugal. Whether its a visit to a doctor after a lazy day of sunbathing from dawn to dusk a broken phone that fell off of a clumsier hand or a very avoidable parking ticket youre going to be the help people hear when its time to sort out a pickle!

The protagonist:

Other than the language skills under your sleeve you will need to be available 24/7 from which you will have a daily workload of 8 hours total. You will need to team up with your trusty router/ethernet cable internet connection (No Wi-Fi) with a computer and other quirky tools being available to you during the contract. As a remote interpreter you will work as a service provider for our client with the payment being subject to self-employed contractor invoices - "recibos verdes".

And to get you started: a remote training period lasting for 15 working days of going over the domains up for your conquest!
