Reports To: Regional Manager Key Merchant Team
Salary: 300k to 400k Gross
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and resourceful Business Development Manager (BDM) to join our Key Merchant Team. The
ideal candidate will focus on building managing and expanding strategic partnerships across Hotels Retail and Oil & Gas
sectors. This individual must have a strong network and proven track record within these industries with the ability to identify
high-value opportunities onboard quality merchants and drive transaction growth.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute strategies to acquire and onboard key merchants in the Hotel Retail and Oil & Gas sectors.
Leverage strong industry relationships to secure high-value partnerships and drive transaction volume.
Identify new business opportunities and negotiate mutually beneficial agreements with top merchants.
Collaborate with the Operations Product and Support teams to ensure seamless onboarding and service delivery.
Maintain strong after-sales relationships ensuring merchant satisfaction and long-term retention.
Continuously seek innovative ways to add value to merchant accounts through POS solutions APIs and tailored
financial services.
Requirements
Bachelors Degree in Business Administration Marketing Economics or related field
45 years proven experience in Business Development / Sales with a strong focus on Hotels Retail or Oil & Gas.
Established network and resources within these industries.
Excellent communication negotiation and presentation skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving ability with data-driven decision-making skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced target-driven environment.
Familiarity with payment solutions merchant services or fintech products is a strong plus.
