Job Summary
- Supervise day-to-day operation of boilers (Both Gas Fired & Waste Heat Recovery) to ensure uninterrupted steam generation as per the plant requirement.
- Monitor the boiler parameters and should be able to analyse the data recorded by the operator. Should be able to diagnose and carry out the troubleshooting of Boiler issues.
- Ensure all operations comply with local state and federal regulations. Maintain accurate logs of fuel consumption (Diesel) water treatment and emissions.
- Maintain spare parts inventory and ensure availability of critical spares
- Supervise boiler water treatment chemical dosing and blowdown practices.
- Supervise boiler operators across shifts. Provide on-the-job training and competency development for operating staff.
- Take active role in coordinating with the Utility / Power House team in operation of Boiler & arresting of Steam leakages
- Maintenance & troubleshooting of the Water Treatment Plant.
Qualification & Experience
- Valid Boiler Operation Engineer Certificate approved by Director of Factories Nigeria.
- Proven supervisory or shift-in-charge experience on Boiler Operation & Power Plant for at least 3 years.
- Should be a graduate mechanical engineer.
