About the role:
We have an exciting opportunity available for a Business Support Officer to join our team at Greystanes reporting to the Routine Construction Scheduling Team Leader.
This is a customer focused support role supporting the Schedulers within the wider team. The person in the role is responsible for ordering Before You Dig Maps assisting with incoming and outgoing phone calls inbox management assigning work to field scopers and provide assistance in preparing general reports.
Experience:
- Solid experience in a similar role
- High level proficiency in MS Word Excel and SAP (desirable).
- Demonstrated high level of computer literacy and competence in use of the MS suite of software particularly word and excel
- SAP experience and knowledge will be highly regarded
- Data input accuracy
- Ability to plan work and organise prioritising tasks and respond immediately to changing circumstances and demands.
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills- demonstrated ability to communicate information at all levels of the organisation
- Excellent telephone manner concise structured report writing and a willingness to support business needs as they arise
- Demonstrated success and experience in building and maintaining positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Strong attention to detail
- Proven ability to self-manage workflow and demonstrate initiative
- Ability to work safely and promote a safe workplace

- Ability to work in a team who are goal oriented
- Can manage their own priorities to achieve key milestones while adhering to tight deadlines.
- A team player able to work on own initiative but as part of the team when appropriate
