About the role
As the Placement Administrative Support Officer you will be responsible for contributing to the administration of co-operative placements within Institutes and TAFE. The position will work closely with the Manager Co-operative Placements and Placement Officers Co-operative Coordinators to support the delivery of Co-operative placements within university courses and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
You will:
contribute to the collection and verification of student and agency documents for student placement such as working with children checks police checks immunisations;
contribute to the Co-operative placements financial matters including the checking and processing of provider payments via purchase orders monitoring expenses and maintaining accurate records;
communicate information to students placement providers and Institutes in a timely and regular fashion using a variety of channels; and
contribute to the production of student handbooks and information guides for placement and program accreditation.
About you
Reporting to the Manager Co-operative Placements you will have experience in the administration of placements in a Higher Education or TAFE setting complimented by demonstrated administration skills including the ability to maintain efficient and effective record keeping.
You will possess:
demonstrated ability to interpret policies and procedures;
effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders;
demonstrated problem solving time management and organisational skills
