Job Summary

Our client is seeking an experienced Field Services & Maintenance Manager with strong technical expertise and proven experience working on Sandvik Surface Drill Rigs.

Salary and Benefits:

Location:

Zimbabwe.
Open to both local and expatriate candidates (including South Africa)

Main Responsibilities:

Manage plan and oversee field service and maintenance operations for Sandvik Surface Drill Rigs.
Diagnose troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to minimize downtime.
Implement preventive and corrective maintenance programs to ensure equipment reliability.
Provide technical guidance training and support to field service teams.
Oversee the servicing maintenance and performance optimization of Sandvik Surface Drill Rigs
Ensure compliance with safety health and environmental standards.
Liaise with OEMs suppliers and contractors to ensure timely availability of parts and service support.
Prepare reports on equipment performance service activities and maintenance schedules.

Key Skills:

Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Leadership experience in managing field service/maintenance teams.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications and Experience:

Mechanical / Electrical Engineering qualification (or equivalent technical certification).
Strong technical background with proven experience working on Sandvik Surface Drill Rigs is essential.
Minimum 5 years experience in mining equipment maintenance and field services.
