Job Summary

LOCATIONS: District-Wide

QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience in custodial work or willingness to learn
Ability to do physical labor

REPORTS TO:Area Custodial Supervisors/Director of Maintenance

JOB GOAL: To provide students with a safe attractive comfortable clean and efficient place in which to learn play and develop.

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

Scrub mop wax and polish floors as needed.
Vacuum and clean carpet.
Dust and polish furniture wash windows woodwork venetian blinds and bathrooms.
Responsible for removal of trash from assigned areas.
Clean up grounds and perform the routine tasks required in the care of the grounds.
Move office and school furniture as needed.
Perform work at varying heights on a ladder.
Perform some heavy lifting.
Perform other duties as assigned.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:

Salary: $11.44/hr

Length of Contract: As needed

EVALUATION:

Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the Boards policy on Evaluation of Support Staff Personnel.
