Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced senior administrative professional to provide effective and efficient leadership to our business office team while providing executive level assistance to the executive team at Linacre Private Hospital.

About the Role

In this role you will provide leadership and direction to all administrative functions throughout the hospital ensuring efficient and effective administrative support. You will lead a team of administrative staff within the business office and consulting suites. You will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely completion of patient admissions discharges and management of patient out of pocket costs. You will have attention to detail and strong focus on the patient experience.

Your key responsibilities will additionally include providing administrative assistance and support to the CEO and Director of Clinical Services and the wider executive team as required. This will include;

  • Diary management.
  • Telephone screening.
  • Preparing correspondence
  • Meeting coordination/minute taking
  • Compliance documentation and database maintenance.
  • Maintaining the medical staff credentialing database.

About You

To be successful in this role you will possess exceptional communication skills both written and verbal advanced organisational skills and have the ability to maintain confidentiality at all times. You will be an efficient and motivated professional with the proven ability to problem solve and to work under pressure.

You will also bring;

  • 3 years experience in an administrative leadership/EA role.
  • Previous experience working in a health care environment is ideal though not essential.
  • Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal.
  • High degree of proficiency in Microsoft Word Excel PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Experience in hospital mainframe systems ie Meditech will be highly regarded.
