Secretary I/II
Applications are invited for appointment as Secretary I/II in the Campus Services Office (Ref.: 533261) to commence as soon as possible on a two-year fixed-term basis with the possibility of renewal.
The Campus Services Office (CSO) is seeking a high-calibre individual to join the team as Secretary I/II. The CSO is a newly established unit to unify the management of various service entities including catering services on-campus business outlets postgraduate residences and future operations of guest accommodations and staff quarters. The aims are fostering a service-oriented culture improving operational efficiency and ensuring the long-term financial sustainability of these units by taking a more dynamic business with lower qualifications and/or less experience may be considered for appointment as Secretary II.
The Role
Reporting to the Director of CSO the appointee will support the Director and assist the office to handle a variety of administrative tasks including office operations procurement staff recruitment HR management such as staff training event organization and providing support for IT services and functions.
Qualifications and Qualities
- A Bachelors degree or a Higher Diploma with at least 3 years relevant full-time work experience preferably gained at tertiary education institutions;
- An excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin);
- Ability to maintain a high level of integrity and confidentiality;
- Good communication interpersonal organizational and problem-solving skills;
- Proficiency in MS Office applications (including Word Excel PowerPoint and Chinese word processing);
- Self-motivation with good time management skills attention to details and a strong sense of responsibility; and
- Knowledge of advanced PC software such as Photoshop Adobe Illustrator
