Part-time Student Research Assistant/Research Assistant I/II in the Faculty of Business and Economics(Ref. 533714)(to commence as soon as possible for 6 months with possibility of renewal)
Applicants should be current undergraduate or masters students in Computer Science Software Engineering Information Systems or a closely related discipline to front-end development.
Solid frontend development skills are required including:
- Proficiency in HTML5 CSS JavaScript and TypeScript
- Experience with for building interactive UIs
- Familiarity with module federation / micro-frontend architecture or willingness to learn it quickly (guidance will be provided)
- Understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility
- Knowledge of calling APIs and displaying data
Bonus skills:
- Knowledge of backend / full-stack technologies such as Django / Python
- Database MySQL or other relational databases
- AWS (S3 EC2 Lambda) will be a strong plus
Prior internship research assistantship or personal project experience in web/app development is highly preferred (please include links to GitHub/portfolio/demo if available). Applicants should demonstrate good coding style and version control habits (Git / GitHub). We value self-motivation open-mindedness fast learning and the ability to follow technical specs.
