Salary:

HK$39485 to HK$50373 (HGPS point 16 - 21) per month including Monthly Allowance

Up to 15% of total basic salary (after deducting the contribution of Mandatory Provident Fund by Hospital Authority) as end-of-contract gratuity may be offered to contract staff upon completion of the contract subject to satisfactory performance.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide secretarial and general support to senior staff and department independently. The typical duties include:

1.
Schedule appointments / meetings for senior staff.
2.
Liaise and co-ordinate meetings / programmes / activities.
3.
Prepare agenda and take minutes during meetings as required.
4.
Supervise clerical staff to ensure the daily workflow of Department including to assist in handling appointment booking and processing purchase orders.
5.

Perform administrative and secretarial support to the department as necessary.

6.
Assist in preparing Medical reports for doctors.
7.
Answer enquiries perform reception services as necessary.
8.
Provide support to coordinate manpower: recruitment roster and leave planning
9.

Perform word processing typing and data processing.

10.

To collect verify and compile record. Maintain filing and tracking of documents.

11.

Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Entry Requirements:
1.

(a) Passes in 5 subjects in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination including English Language (Syllabus B) or equivalent; OR

(b) 5 subjects in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education attaining the level specified below:

  • Level 2 in English Language; and
  • Level 2 in New Senior Secondary subjects / Attained in Applied Learning subjects (subject to a maximum of 2 subjects under this category)
    / Grade E in Other Language subjects; or equivalent;
2.

Typing speed (50 wpm) with advanced skills in word-processing.

3.

Knowledge of common office automation (e.g. E-mail Internet/Intranet) PC applications (e.g. Excel Powerpoint) and other secretarial skills (e.g. audio typing and shorthand)
as specified by user department.

4.

3 years of secretarial experience.

5.

Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese.

Preferable Attributes / Exposure:
1.

Possession of a certificate / diploma in Secretarial Studies.

2.

Relevant working experience in clinical departments and familiarization of medical terminology are preferable.

3.

Self-motivated strong analytical mind excellent telephone manner and good communication skills.

4.

Hands-on experience in MS Office such as MS Word Access Excel & PowerPoint as well as English and Chinese typing.

5.

Ability to organize work and work independently.

6.

With University Degree
