Join our Consumer Insurance team to design and deliver innovative protection and prevention solutions. Known internally as our Home Product Design Specialist youll lead ideation strategy and product development that puts customers first and drives commercial outcomes. This role blends service design with strategic thinking requiring you to unpack complex business problems and create commercially viable solutions. Youll work across teams to shape the future of our Home insurance portfolio and bring new products to market.
What Youll Do
- Lead the design and execution of new insurance propositions aligning customer needs with business strategy and innovation goals
- Apply human-centred design and service design principles to unpack complex problems and create meaningful solutions
- Collaborate across Portfolio Pricing Claims Digital and Marketing teams to bring the Home product roadmap to life
- Use customer research testing and analysis to validate ideas and ensure desirability viability and feasibility
- Communicate design rationale clearly to stakeholders balancing customer experience with commercial impact
- Manage internal and external relationships to deliver high-quality customer-focused outcomes
What Youll Bring
- Proven experience in product design innovation or strategy ideally within insurance or financial services
- Ability to think commercially and strategically with a strong grasp of customer needs and business drivers
- Skilled in service design and human-centred design with experience taking concepts through to delivery
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across teams
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and applying structured thinking to complex challenges
- Experience with design tools and frameworks and a passion for creating impactful customer experiences
