Job Description
Our client a well established organisation in manufacturing is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to join their team. The successful candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in versatile logistics production and manufacturing environments.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee all aspects of production including scheduling quality control and cost management.
- Develop and implement production plans ensuring that deadlines are met and products are delivered on time and within budget.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering procurement and logistics to optimise production processes and ensure efficient resource allocation.
- Implement and enforce safety and quality control procedures ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations.
- Continuously monitor and analyse production metrics to identify opportunities for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Manage and develop a team of production staff providing coaching training and support as needed.
Requirements:
- Advantageous to have a Bachelors degree in Engineering Business Administration or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in versatile logistics production and manufacturing environments.
- Strong knowledge of production processes and techniques as well as quality control and safety procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrated leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team of production staff.
- Proven track record of implementing process improvements and driving operational excellence.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
