Maintains safety as the top priority while keeping the warehouse clean and ResponsibilitiesSafety: responsible for the safety of product movement and storage including material handling equipment racking and docksProduction: coordination of safe and timely movement of materials in and out of production areas as needed by manufacturing. Review of daily orders to ensure customer OTD needs are : Plans and collects all available products for shipment on daily trucks LTL loads and other third-party shipments. Oversees or personally produces packing slips shipping labels and shipping : all raw materials and MRO items. Validates quantity and quality of items received against purchase orders. Enters material receipts into the inventory using the ERP system. Is responsible for the accurate marking of incoming raw materials as : effectively utilizes available space to maximize flow and minimize travel for raw materials WIP finished goods and MRO : Monitors and reviews the conditions of leased and owned vehicles coordinating regular inspections repairs and and coordinates work schedules and activities of contract carrier with Buyer to investigate and resolve inventory daily cycle counts and quarterly physical inventory RESPONSIBILITIESCulture is critical this position will lead train coach and empower others to succeed every day. Building and maintaining a great team is crucial. Leads a team of six personnel across two shifts in a 125000 sq/ft facility. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organizations policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training employees planning assigning and directing work appraising performance rewarding and disciplining employees and addressing complaints and resolving Knowledge and ExpertiseEDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCEMinimum 4 years of experience in a Shipping/Receiving or Warehouse leadership role; or a technical degree from an accredited two-year college plus 3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
