Job Description:
To plan organize implement and control production in an organizational manner to ensure safety quality delivery inventory and costs are met on products that are produced effectively efficiently on time within budget and in compliance with our customer expectations.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate activities of associates to attain shift goals
- Effectively communicate with peers associates and leadership with the goal of making the most efficient use of personnel and equipment
- Produce quality parts for our customers working on continuous improvement where needs exist
- Work to minimize downtime
- Foster a spirit of teamwork and cooperation by leading and setting the example
- Enforce policies procedures and systems
- Establish and support a work environment of continuous improvement that supports the companys quality and safety policies/goals
- Embrace enforce and educate employees on the importance of maintaining a safe and clean work environment by adhering to company policies and procedures
- Recommend measures to improve production methods equipment performance and quality of product
- Analyze and resolve work problems or assists workers in solving work problems
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree preferred in related field or equivalent work experience required
- 3 work experience in manufacturing required
- 3 years supervisory experience preferred
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Proficient in Microsoft Word Excel and Power Point Outlook IMES a plus
- Ability to plan organize and implement with attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to motivate and influence others
- Must be proactive in work assignments and enjoy fast paced work environment
- Able to positively and effectively influence and disseminate information between Production and Management

Physical Demands:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this Job the employee is regularly required to stand use hands to handle frequently required to reach with hands and arms and occasionally required to walk and stoop kneel crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 35 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision distance vision color vision peripheral vision depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
