Job Summary

The Farm/Projects Manager will oversee and coordinate all building and farm-related projects on a private residence. This role requires a hands-on professional with a strong background in construction/building who can ensure quality standards are met identify issues early and deliver projects on time and within budget.

Responsibilities:

Oversee day-to-day progress of farm and construction projects across the property.
Supervise contractors service providers and site workers to ensure compliance with specifications and timelines.
Monitor quality of work identifying faults or inconsistencies and implement corrective action.
Provide regular updates and progress reports to the property owner.
Ensure that all works are carried out safely legally and to required standards.
Manage procurement of materials and liaise with suppliers as required.
Maintain accurate records of expenditures project milestones and contractor performance.
Support general farm and property operations where needed.

Key Skills:

Strong background in construction building or related technical fields.
Keen eye for detail with ability to identify errors or deviations in workmanship.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
High level of integrity confidentiality and discretion.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to manage and motivate diverse teams.
Proactive reliable and solution-oriented personality.

Qualifications:

Diploma or Degree in Construction Management Civil Engineering Agriculture or related discipline preferred.
Proven track record in managing building or farm projects.
Minimum 5 years experience in project/farm management or construction supervision.
Valid drivers licence an added advantage.
