Our campsare located in remote areas and staff live on-site (meals and accommodationincluded) on scheduled shifts and leave camp on scheduled shift schedule is any of the following:4 weeks on and 2 weeksoff 3 weeks on and 1 week off or 2 weeks on and 2 weeks off. Most ofour LandSea camps offer individual staff accommodation ensuite or sharedbathroom full meals WIFI and some have health/gym facilities for staff. Weprovide partial uniforms and help with the travel/reservations as needed to andfrom camp locations. Camp staffwork long hours and multiple days in a row. A typical workday is between 10-12hours (day or night shift) and overtime rates apply. Health and Wellnessbenefits are offered after three months. Health andSafety and a Respectful Workplace are essential for everyone working togetherat LandSea. Our camps are drug and alcohol-free workplaces and some requirepre-employment drug and alcohol testing. All new staff are required to completepre-employment onboarding orientations. Our teammembers include Clerks Cleaners General Helpers Housekeepers JanitorsMaintenance Security Chefs Cooks Bakers Lodge Managers Health and SafetyOfficers and more.

- Minimum3-5 years of experience being a Head Cook

- Excellentattention to detail and well-developed organizational skills
- Strongwork ethic with an ability to work independently and in a team environment

JobDuties and Responsibilities
- Administrationinventory
- Adhere tospecific tasks; campfire drills HACCP
- Uphold allpolicies and practices of LandSea Camp Services
- Alwayswear proper uniforms
- Assistwith preparation and disassembly for moving and relocation
- Along withthe Camp Manager facilitate safety meetings on the 1st and 15th of each monthensuring that all staff report accidents safety concerns and work hazards
- Maintainconstant communication with Head Office staff regarding concerns withpersonnel food equipment and shutdowns etc.
- Counsel/coachemployees as required and involve Head Office when necessary to providedirection on disciplinary matters
- Providesfirst-class customer service kitchen and facility cleanliness
- Prepareand cook complete buffet-style meals or individual dishes and foods consistentwith LandSea Camp Services menu plan
- Baking awide variety of foods snacks and desserts
- Prepareand cook special meals for clients as instructed by Landsea
- Coordinateand manage buffet service or plate service
- Scheduleand supervise kitchen helpers
- Overseekitchen operations
- FollowFood Safe requirements
- Maintaininventory and records of food supplies and equipment
- Planmenus determine the size of food portions estimate food requirements andcosts and monitor and order supplies
- Trainingnew kitchen and dining room staff
- Prepareweekly food orders and input or process as directed by LandSea Head Office
- Clean upworkspace surfaces appliances buffet lines pots pans dishes and allfood-related equipment and supplies
- Maintainand upkeep the kitchen and dining room equipment
- Offerquality food and presentation
PhysicalRequirements
- Standwalk stoop kneel or crouch for long periods of time
- Fast andrepetitive movements of fingers hands and wrists
- Usemuscles to lift push pull or carry objects up to 50 lbs
- Use handsto handle objects and tools
- Able tocomplete up to 12 hours shifts
