Job Description
Job Title: Lecturer (on academic programmes)
Reporting to: Faculty Head / Programme Director
Location:

Job Type: Part-Time
Job Summary:
The successful candidate will play an active role in the academic direction of the module including teaching assessment and administration.
Job Responsibilities:
- Teaching the assigned classes as set out in the timetable for the module in Academic Year 2025/2026.
- Carry out assessment monitoring and evaluation of examination work and providing an academic and consultative support to learners.
- Attend to all module and programme administration in a timely and professional manner.
- Produce examination papers and assignment questions in conjunction with the module lecturing team and internal moderator.
- Prepare and deliver your module in accordance with Faculty requirements (update module descriptor assessment briefs and make resources available to learners via Moodle).
- Provide reading lists for learners and revise these in conjunction with the library on a semester-by-semester basis please contact the library well before the term begins as there is a lead time in book delivery.
- Correct all assignments and examination scripts submitted both for semester one / two plus in addition to this the repeat August exams in accordance with the academic schedule of the Faculty.
- Complete a Module Report at the end of Semester 1 and Semester 2
