What you will be doing:
- Direct the formulation renewal and execution of JGFs overall strategy in collaboration with senior leadership.
- Translate high-level strategic goals into actionable program roadmaps.
- Lead the complete lifecycle of new programs from design and development through to piloting and launch.
- Oversee the planning and execution of all program deliveries ensuring financial accountability and alignment.
- Monitor program health and analyse outcome reports.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with critical external partners (Funders stakeholders service providers etc.)
- Compile and present strategic and operational reports to the board executive committee and other key stakeholders.
- Identify and mitigate risks related to funding changes and potential reputational exposure to protect the organization.
What our client is looking for:
- A relevant tertiary degree would be highly beneficial (NQF Level 8 or 9) (Management Sciences Education etc.)
- 10 years in strategic leadership program development and implementation.
- Proven track record in managing and implementing educational programs within the South African context.
- Possesses strong strategic agility business acumen and organizational insight.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills combined with strong judgment and risk management capabilities.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex multi-stakeholder environments effectively.
- High-level diplomatic skills and the ability to engage sensitively with both public and private sector partners.
- Strong communication negotiation and presentation skills are required.
- Proven experience in financial oversight and organizational leadership.
- The candidate must be proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite.
