We are seeking a Logistics Coordinator for our client to manage shipments logistics and timely delivery across their operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and monitor supply chain operations from order to delivery.
- Arrange transportation for inbound and outbound shipments including booking carriers and preparing necessary documentation.
- Track shipments address delays and communicate status updates to stakeholders.
- Ensure accuracy of shipping and receiving documentation including bills of lading customs paperwork and invoices.
- Maintain strong relationships with carriers freight forwarders and suppliers.
- Collaborate with procurement warehouse and customer service teams to align logistics activities with business needs.
- Optimize shipping routes and methods to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with company policies industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Handle and resolve issues related to damaged goods delays or transportation errors.
- Maintain logistics reports KPIs and records in company systems.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management Logistics Business Administration or related field (preferred).
- Proven experience in logistics transportation or supply chain coordination.
- Strong knowledge of shipping processes freight regulations and documentation.
- Proficiency with logistics software (e.g. SAP Oracle TMS WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
