Job Description
Job Title: Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Travel Assignment
Location: Atlanta GA
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: 10x4 Days Monday Friday 7:00 AM 5:00 PM
Start Date: ASAP
Pay:
- Weekly Gross: $1880
- Taxable: $640
- Non-Taxable: $1240
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of recent CST experience
- Strong proficiency in Neuro and Thoracic procedures
- National CST Certification (NBSTSA preferred)
- Current BLS Certification
- Must be a traveler residing 50 miles from the facility
- Able to adapt quickly in a fast-paced OR setting
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain a sterile field for surgical procedures
- Anticipate the needs of the surgical team during Neuro and Thoracic operations
- Select and prepare surgical instruments supplies and equipment
- Handle instruments supplies and specimens appropriately during surgery
- Maintain accurate counts of sponges needles and instruments
- Assist in room turnover and instrument sterilization
- Ensure compliance with infection control and safety protocols
- Collaborate with surgeons RNs and anesthesia providers to ensure optimal patient care
