Job Description
- Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering Aerospace Engineering Material Science or similar concentration
- MS/PhD and 3 years of relevant industry experience
- Experience in running non-linear static and dynamic Finite Element Analysis using Abaqus Ansys or equivalent CAE packages in large volume consumer electronics industry
- Expertise in structural thermomechanical and heat transfer modeling
- Additional expertise in fracture mechanics adhesive materials electromagnetic acoustic and CFD is preferred
- Experience in modeling of different classes of materials including polymers elastomers soft adhesives and brittle materials
- Experience with calibration verification and validation of models through physical testing
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills; ability to interact with multi-functional teams management and external vendors
- Proficiency in Matlab Python and Abaqus User Subroutines is a plus
