Job Description
CAPITAL Ford of Hillsborough is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Automotive Sales Assistant to support our busy sales this role youll be the backbone of the sales process ensuring customers have a smooth professional experience while helping sales consultants stay organized and focused on closing deals. If you enjoy a mix of customer interaction and behind-the-scenes coordination this is the role for you.

Sales Assistant Responsibilities:
- Greet customers in the showroom and connect them with the appropriate sales consultant
- Support sales staff by preparing paperwork organizing deal jackets and maintaining accurate customer records
- Assist with scheduling test drives and sales appointments
- Answer phone calls and emails providing information on inventory promotions and financing options
- Help track and follow up with potential leads through CRM tools or customer contact lists
- Assist with vehicle deliveries ensuring customers have a smooth hand off experience and understand their new vehicle features
- Perform other administrative and support tasks as needed to keep the sales process running smoothly
Sales Assistant Requirements:
- Previous experience in a customer service administrative or sales support role preferred
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Friendly approachable personality with excellent communication skills
- Comfortable using phones computers and CRM or database systems
- Ability to multitask and stay composed in a fast-paced environment
- Basic knowledge of automotive products and dealership operations is a plus
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check
