JCI is looking for UX/UI Designer to join our Security Products team! Launch your product design career with us!
What You Will Do
You will design the UI/UX for our Enterprise application that runs and monitors security products. The candidate should have strong interpersonal skills a desire to work in a team environment and passionate about delivering high quality software.
How Will You Do It
Collaborate with business product engineering and testing on product requirements.
Be knowledgeable of current design trends and standards and how they may or may not apply to our products.
Integrate user feedback initiate and evaluate customer research and review product metrics to enhance product designs
Analyze user-testing data and determine if design changes should be made to the product.
Make sure UX is in line with customer expectations and exceeds industry standards.
Evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product owners and engineering
Prepare design documents and review with partners
Address customer needs using story boards site maps journey maps etc. to develop UX recommendations
What We Look For
Required
BS or MS Degree in Human Computer Interaction or other relevant degree
Portfolio demonstrating experience with design thinking methodology
Skilled using design tools such as Figma Sketch Adobe Miro
Experience conducting user interviews usability testing to collect feedback
Outstanding problem-solving skills
Ability to understand business needs and work strategically
Availability to work during US Eastern time-zone business hours
Preferred
2 years experience in a professional/enterprise environment
Experience with illustrative designs such as iconography typography etc.
Experience with software development
