Job Description
Introduction
Duties & Responsibilities
Assist in the servicing of technical equipment and services
Assist with administration and record keeping relating to the servicing of equipment
Ensure that all health and safety rules and regulations are adhered to
Maintain a clean and tidy workshop
Desired Experience & Qualification
Minimum N3 Mechanical / Electrical / Technical related qualification N4 preferred
Alternatively Grade 12 certificate with mathematics as a subject and an enthusiasm for technical concepts and a hands-on approach
Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings is advantageous
Basic computer literacy in Microsoft Office
Prior experience in a technical role would be advantageous
Valid Drivers license is preferrable
Clear criminal record and able to apply for passport if necessary
- Be physically fit and able to work in harsh conditions.
- The ability to interact with customers and employees.
Make and action decisions in an effective manner
Well organized sober habits and high attention to detail
