In this position you will be responsible for serving customers at the various counters and service points of the cafeterias. Your duties will include ensuring that food is kept at the proper temperature preparing hot beverages according to established standards as well as cutting coring peeling and cleaning vegetables fruits and other products in accordance with standardized guidelines. You will also prepare upon request a variety of cold and hot sandwiches salads and garnishes. You will ensure the provision of fast and efficient service while adhering to quality hygiene production and customer service standards. Your demeanor must reflect courteous professional service consistent with the image of the House of Commons thereby guaranteeing a positive experience for all guests.
The purpose of this posting is to staff the position of Food Services Attendant on a seasonal on-call determinate and indeterminate basis. Hourly Rate $23.07 - $29.19.
**For seasonal on-call basis the hours of work can vary between 15 to 35 hours. The needs are determined according to the parliamentary sessions. Work periods are from mid-September to mid-December late January to late June. Operational requirements are reduced during the summer months and between parliamentary sessions.
