Join EYs Defence team and help solve Australias most important national security challenges. Were looking for Consultants and Senior Consultants who thrive in complexity and want to make a real impact supporting the most intricate organisation in the country. As a Senior Consultant you will work alongside a team of professionals from diverse backgrounds contributing to the delivery of high-quality client services. Youll have the opportunity to work on projects across Digital Supply Chain Procurement Operational Excellence and Manufacturing Excellence. This role is based in Ngambri (Canberra).
Your key responsibilities
- Were a growing team in high demand looking for individuals who approach business problems with structured thinking and a logical mindset.
- Youll have the chance to work on a variety of impactful projects across Digital Supply Chain Procurement Operational Excellence and Manufacturing Excellence applying data-driven analysis to generate insights and drive results.
- Strong communication skills are essentialyoull need to confidently present your perspective to senior executives and help deliver transformational change for our clients.
Skills and attributes for success
- Bring 35 years of experience delivering Digital Supply Chain solutions such as Supply Chain IT platforms analytics and visualisation tools warehouse and transport management systems demand planning systems blockchain or automation/robotics technologies.
- Exposure to Procurement within complex large-scale organisational environmentsbeyond purely transactional activities - with a focus on strategic sourcing and process optimisation. One of the sectors we work with is the Australian Federal Government and as such Australian Citizenship is preferred.
- Demonstrated capability in Operational and Manufacturing Excellence including continuous improvement initiatives systems thinking and methodologies like Lean or Six Sigma in both operational and manufacturing contexts.
Ideally youll also have the skills and attributes below but dont worry if you dont tick all the boxes. Were interested in your aptitude attitude and willingness to learn.
- Good understanding of one or more of our Supply Chain and Operations areas and capability to become a leader in one or more of those areas.
