Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead the logistics team ensuring high performance and service excellence
- Support the Head of Logistics with operational oversight projects and new initiatives
- Act as the escalation point for key tasks challenges and stakeholder queries
- Oversee compliance with import/export regulations customs laws and tariffs
- Drive service provider performance through KPI tracking and relationship management
- Compile and analyse logistics data with a focus on cost lead times and performance metrics
- Benchmark industry best practices and identify the best routes to market
- Monitor global logistics trends and adjust strategies to remain competitive
- Lead cost-optimisation and continuous improvement initiatives within the supply chain
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree in Logistics Supply Chain Management or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of logistics experience in a managerial role with proven operational expertise
- Strong knowledge of international logistics and global supply chain operations
- Demonstrated ability to reduce costs improve efficiencies and ensure compliance
- Excellent communication leadership and stakeholder management skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
