Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Communications Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in enhancing our organizational communication strategies to ensure consistent messaging and brand alignment across all platforms. This position requires a blend of creativity strategic thinking and excellent writing skills to develop and implement effective communication plans.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement communication strategies to enhance brand awareness.
- Create compelling content for various platforms including social media newsletters and press releases.
- Coordinate internal communications to keep staff informed about organizational updates and initiatives.
- Manage the organizations social media accounts and develop a content calendar.
- Assist in planning and executing events including promotional materials and communication outreach.
- Monitor media coverage and prepare reports on communication metrics and effectiveness.

Skills:
- Bachelors degree in Communications Public Relations Journalism or related field.
- Previous experience in a communications or marketing role preferably in a non-profit or similar environment.
- Strong writing editing and proofreading skills with a keen attention to detail.

- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills with the ability to work collaboratively.
