Job Description
Join Our Neonatology Team in Fort Myers FL!
We are seeking a dedicated Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to join our team at a state-of-the-art facility located in Fort Myers Florida. This practice operates within Golisano Childrens Hospital featuring a 70-bed Level-III NICU and is part of a health system that provides approximately 7000 deliveries per year. Our facility prides itself on offering a family-centered approach to care and our team values ongoing learning and professional growth.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide attending coverage at our Level-III NICU.
- Manage in-house call and 24-hour NNP coverage.
- Offer Level-I coverage including well baby care and back-up coverage from home.
- Collaborate with a team of 10 neonatologists and 10 NNPs in a supportive environment.
- Participate in a robust quality improvement program and opportunities for clinical research.
- Ensure developmentally sensitive and family-centered care in all interactions.
- Utilize exceptional new graduate talent; tuition assistance available for exceptional candidates.
Qualifications:
- Masters Degree (minimum) or Doctorate in Nursing.
- NNP Board Certified (cannot accept FNP PNP or any other NP certifications).
- Active Florida License or willingness to obtain one.
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner.
- Availability for in-house call and a commitment to a permanent full-time position.
- Willingness to relocate if necessary and residency within the immediate local area.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Masters Degree and/or Doctorate in Nursing - REQUIRED
- NNP - Board Certified - REQUIRED
- Active Florida License (or willingness to obtain) - REQUIRED
- DEA (to be obtained prior to start) - REQUIRED
- Must note if J1 or H1B visa support is needed - REQUIRED
