Permanent Nurse Practitioner - Neonatology Position in Hollywood FL
Join our dedicated team of highly skilled physicians and healthcare professionals at South Floridas premier provider of neonatal services in the Hollywood area!
Our facility boasts a large-level IV NICU and covers multiple hospitals in the system offering an unparalleled environment for professional growth and advancement. With state-of-the-art facilities and cutting-edge technology we provide comprehensive care for neonates with diverse medical conditions.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality care in a large-level IV NICU addressing high acuity cases.
- Rotate among three hospitals all within a 20-30 minute drive and handle 24-hour shifts and varying day/night schedules.
- Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure the best outcomes for our smallest patients.
- Maintain a focus on professional development and continuous improvement of care practices.
Qualifications:
- Masters Degree (minimum) and/or Doctorate in Nursing - REQUIRED
- NNP - Board Certified (cannot accept FNP PNP or any other NP certifications) - REQUIRED
- Current 2 years of employment experience as NNP (not including RN experience) - REQUIRED
- Florida License (or willing to obtain) - REQUIRED
- DEA must be obtained prior to start - REQUIRED
License and Certification Requirements:
- Must have a Masters Degree in Nursing and/or DNP.
- Board Certification as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner is mandatory.
- Active Florida Nursing License or the willingness to obtain one.
- DEA registration is required prior to employment commencement.
