Job Summary

Job Title: Nurse Practitioner - Neonatology

Join our team of highly skilled physicians and healthcare professionals at one of South Floridas premier providers of neonatal services in the beautiful Hollywood area! Our facility features a large-level IV NICU where you will provide exceptional care to the smallest patients using state-of-the-art technologies and a comprehensive approach to neonatal health.

Job Responsibilities:

Provide high-level neonatal care in a Level IV NICU setting.
Collaborate with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals to ensure optimal outcomes for neonates.
Rotate across three hospitals within a 20-30 minute drive each equipped with advanced nursing facilities.
Work 24-hour shifts in Level III units or 10-12 hour day and 12-16 hour night shifts in the Level IV unit.
Demonstrate expertise and a commitment to high acuity neonatal care.

Qualifications:

Masters Degree in Nursing or Doctorate in Nursing.
Board Certified Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) - FNP PNP or other NP certifications not accepted.
Minimum of 2 years current experience as an NNP (not including RN experience).
Florida state nursing license or willingness to obtain.
DEA certification (must be obtained prior to start).

License and Certification Requirements:

Masters Degree and/or Doctorate in Nursing - Required.
NNP - Board Certified - Required.
Current Florida License or willingness to obtain - Required.
Minimum of 2 years of employment experience as an NNP - Required.
DEA registration - Required.
