Locum General Medicine Physician Opportunity in Sheridan WY
Join a dedicated team in providing vital Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments for our nations Veterans. This position is designed for General Medicine Providers who are committed to making a difference in the lives of those who served.
This opportunity allows you to work on a PRN basis with flexible hours including options for half-day and full-day shifts. Youll perform interview-based exams with some physical assessments all without the responsibilities of prescribing or treatment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct one-time non-treatment Compensation & Pension exams.
- Perform Separation Health Assessments.
- Engage in interview-based assessments and some physical evaluations including range of motion and muscle strength testing.
- Complete required administrative work including report submissions and addendums.
- Maintain accurate records of exams conducted.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in METs testing and evaluating respiratory and cardiovascular conditions.
- Experience in family medicine internal medicine or general medicine.
- Strong understanding of Compensation & Pension processes (preferred).
- Ability to own and use a laptop (no Mac/Apple products).
- Willingness to complete DMA training to become DMA certified.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Active and unrestricted full medical license.
- AANP certification.
