Job Description
Job Title: Locum Physician - Primary Care
Join a Leading Primary Care Practice in Colonial Heights VA!
We are seeking a dedicated Primary Care provider to join a well-respected practice in Colonial Heights Virginia. This facility is a part of a larger organization under Bon Secours Mercy Health offering an opportunity to work in a collaborative environment. The practice caters to a varied patient population including adults geriatrics and pediatrics along with on-site services such as laboratory and radiology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality primary care to adult geriatric and pediatric patients.
- Conduct routine examinations and administer necessary medical procedures.
- Perform required general and surgical procedures including suturing minor lacerations.
- Utilize the Epic documentation system for accurate record keeping.
- Work collaboratively with a mid-level provider to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Stay updated on patient care protocols and organizational guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Primary Care.
- Demonstrated experience in outpatient adult and pediatric care.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Active Virginia medical license is REQUIRED.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is REQUIRED.
- Board certification or eligibility is REQUIRED.
