Job Description
Locum - Physician - Emergency Medicine in Gallipolis OH
Join our dedicated team at a thriving emergency department in Gallipolis Ohio. We are seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine provider to contribute to our facility which comprises Holzer Meigs Gallipolis and Jackson EDs. Here you will find a supportive environment with a focus on providing high-quality care and a collaborative atmosphere. Our ideal candidate will be available for a minimum of 5 shifts a month with a preference for 8-10 shifts including night shifts and weekends.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality emergency medical care in a fast-paced environment.
- Oversee Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) in the emergency department.
- Write admission orders as an ED Physician.
- Manage patient care from admission to delivery in collaboration with specialists.
- Participate in emergency department operations with a focus on patient throughput and quality.
- Ensure compliance with all medical and legal regulations.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified in Emergency Medicine (ABMS/AOA IM/FM) - REQUIRED.
- 2 years of recent experience in Emergency Medicine - REQUIRED.
- Strong clinical skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Valid Ohio state medical license - REQUIRED.
- COVID Vaccination - REQUIRED.
- ACLS ATLS BLS PALS certification - REQUIRED.
- NRP certification - REQUIRED.
